Come and join us in Wellington, the home of New Zealand politics, for a weekend of political discussions, campaign and activism training, interesting speakers and, of course, socialising and fun.
This year's ACT on Campus Conference is timed to coincide with the 2010 ACT Conference, so it's bound to be an action packed weekend.
On Friday morning we'll hold a strategy and planning session for ACT on Campus for 2010 and beyond, featuring discussion on VSM, election campaigning and more.
You can RSVP to this on our Facebook page, here:

Friday afternoon and Saturday is the ACT Conference, including speeches and sessions by the ACT MPs, Alan Gibbs, Don Brash and more.
The ACT conference costs $30 for students, and more information and a full timetable for Friday afternoon and Saturday can be found here:

Saturday night will be your opportunity to find out who all those anonymous bloggers really are, with ACT on Campus and other bloggers being hosted by internet superstar Cactus Kate for drinks, dinner and then, no doubt, more drinks.

Finally, Sunday will be the main day of the ACT on Campus conference, with sessions on campaigning and political activism, a planning session for Roger Douglas' Voluntary Student Membership bill, a chat with Young Nats President, Dan Fielding, and a look at the current political climate in some overseas countries.
Sunday will also feature a session by Matt Burgess, CEO of iPredict, who will talk about the power of markets, particularly prediction markets and the idea of a Predictocracy, where government policy would be determined by what the market says would work.
You can RSVP to this on our Facebook page, here:

The ACT on Campus conference costs $10 for students for all three events.
