Bruce Haycock had me....up until "Internet censorship".Please tell me that was a mistake?

My internet censorship views were related to child pornography

Bruce, I am glad to see your position child pornography. I would hope all ACT members would also support not only censorship of child porn but the prosecution of anyone downloading it. Some of the views of the extreme libertarians I find a bit disturbing.

Some guy on Kiwiblog was advocating the legalisation of computer generated characters simulating child porn. His rationalisation was that such garbage would satisfy some paedophiles and they would not move onto child porn involving real children or actual children. I hope this guy is not a member of ACT.

I do not consider my self a prude. I have no problem with adult porn or brothels. But believe that legalising street soliciting has led to underage children being involved in prostitution.

Would you also support banning simulated child porn using computer generated characters?
